Spring has sprung! Needless to say, it has been great to be outside and in nature. It feels good for the soul. My family was able to have a BBQ for Easter a couple of weeks ago, and the flowers were in some serious bloom. Below, is my sister-in-law, Gentrie, isn't she cute?! We have fun hanging out because we are usually the only girls when we are with my husband's family. They have 6 boys and 2 girls, so us girls are a little out numbered!
In honor of Spring, here is an outfit that I feel is very springy. The shoes are from Aldo, and were $15 (which is really amazing for Aldo). My skirt is Anthropology and was $19.99. The shirt is from H & M and was only $5. My necklace was from a thrift store and was probably under a dollar. So this outfit's total was only $40.99!!! Pretty good, huh. My tip of the day...Shop the sale rack! I never buy an item full price, which means I head straight to the back of the store to hit the sales racks. I don't even usually look at the rest of the store because it makes me sad that I can't have everything I want. I also look through every item in the sale rack because things get misplaced or overlooked that are cheap. It takes awhile but I view it as a hunt with a thrilling ending of finding that great item for under $10!
Here is a close up of my skirt from Anthropology. I love that skirt!!! It's drapey and flowery and polka-dotty and cute! Everything you could want in one skirt. Anthropology is one of my favorite stores, but it is very expensive so I don't buy much there. I was able to find this skirt in their sale racks though, which was a great find for $20. This leads back to my tip from above, really look through the sale rack. You will find some absolute steals.
