Look how cute those shoes are!! I love those leather moccasins from Aldo. Let me just tell you how much I love Aldo. I love Aldo! I don't understand how they can make so many cute shoes. These are like two years old but still look pretty new. It's like slipping into a comfortable pair of PJ's, when I put these on.
There I am! And there is my tiny one bedroom studio!! So I wore this outfit to work, and this is a pretty typical professional work outfit, if I don't have to go to court. I'm wearing my favorite shoes from Aldo ($25). My pants are from Nordstrom Rack and cost $9.95. It's hard to tell in this picture, but they are a dark jean with a black cheetah print, and I have them folded up at the ankle because it was super hot out on that day. I paired that with my favorite belt from Nordstrom Rack, which was $15. I just got that brown shirt from Nordstrom Rack ($6). I guess I am obsessed with the Rack. . . The fly away cardigan is from Banana Republic and was $11. My multi-stranded necklace was from a thrift store and cost less than a dollar. So the total amount spent for this outfit was $66.95!!! My tip of the day; if you're in a fashion rut try tucking your shirt in. It makes an outfit you've worn a million times seem new and exciting. It also gives your waste more definition which makes you look thinner (win win)! Don't tuck your shirt in if your pants are super low ride, it could make you look like you have muffin top (which is a lose lose). A good rule of thumb is to keep the top of your pants around your belly button, if you are going to tuck your shirt in. That is most people's thinnest part of their body, so it flatters most figures.
