This post is very late!! I apologize! Over the summer, me and my husband got the chance to go to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was AMAZING!!!! We were able to go hiking, helicopter riding, skipped rocks, and played games until we fell asleep. I'm not sure I've been anywhere prettier than this place. My family had to drag me out on the helicopter ride (it was expensive and I'm scared of heights) but it was one of my favorite things we ended up doing. We got to see parts of the park that we couldn't have with out being in the air. Below is a photo that doesn't do the park justice, but I did my best!
The water in the many lakes, scattered throughout the park, were the purest blue I've ever seen. It's hard to describe, but the color was almost a light blue, like the blue of the sky at noon. Truly breath taking.
To get to the twin falls, my family and I decided that we needed to run the whole way (it was starting to get dark). My sides hurt!! But it was worth the run. That was my favorite hike we did. The waterfall is actually quite bigger in person too.
There were many gorges that were GORGEOUS!! (Haha get it?)
And don't even get me started on the colorful rocks. Beautiful rusty reds and mossy greens and deep blues. Just spectacular. Plus, my feet are pretty cute (:
And here is the whole gang!! Eating rock candy's like the hard core adults we are.
Our last day we all got to go kayaking, which was fun (though a little cold). It was a perfect end to a perfect weekend. I love being outside in nature and water.
Well, on to my outfit of the day...
I love this ensemble!! (I usually love everything I wear though..) My shoes are from Aldo and were $19.99 ( I swear outlets are the way to go!). My pants are from Nordstrom Rack and were $14.99. My shirt is from Down East Basics and cost $9.99. My kimono is from CottonOn and was $9.99. My necklace was a gift from a college friend. My outfit total was 54.96!! Yay!!
My tip of the day?? Definitely invest in a bunch of plain white and black shirts that can go with pretty much anything. I also recommend a couple of other neutral colors to keep as part of your closet stable, like brown or grey. This also helps on days that you are rushed because a plain shirt can go with anything and look put together. Thanks for reading my blog and stay tuned for some more articles!!
PS, I had to show off my curled hair because I don't do it very often!!!
